The Civil Rights Party of Canada is engaged into taking action that deliberately taken to manage human activities with a view to prevent, reduce, or mitigate harmful effects on nature and natural resources, and ensuring that man-made changes to the environment do not have harmful effects on humans.
Thus, our environmental policy focuses on problems arising from human impact on the environment, which retroacts onto human society by having a negative impact on human values such as good health or the 'clean and green' environment.
The Civil Rights Party of Canada is committed to leading its activities in minimizing and monitoring the impact on the environment.
Minimize waste by evaluating operations and ensuring they are as efficient as possible.
Minimize toxic emissions through the selection and use of its fleet and the source of its power requirement.
Actively promote recycling both internally and amongst its customers and suppliers.
Source and promote a product range to minimize the environmental impact of both production and distribution.
Meet or exceed all the environmental legislation that relates to our Party on going activities.
Use an accredited program to limit and offset the greenhouse gas emissions generated by our activities.
Our Party also accepts responsibility of its operations that may have an impact on both the local and global environment and is committed to reducing them.
Our Party will measure its impact continuously on the environment and set targets for ongoing improvement.
Our Party will comply with all relevant environmental legislation at the local and international levels.
Our Party will implement a training program for its staff to raise awareness of environmental issues and enlist their support in improving our Party’s performance.
Our Party will encourage the adoption of similar principles by its suppliers, partners, affiliates, donors, sponsors and members.
Our Environmental Policy base framework aims to achieve a more radical, and practical approach rather than a set of specific initiatives in order to deal coherently with the scale of the climate change challenges and natural energy efficiency; protecting our rainforests, encouraging green energy and tackling other environmental imminent threats to our planet.
